The gauging technology that we have developed is the out come or our continuous involvement with manufacturer in understanding his requirement and keeping ourselves abreast of the latest measuring techniques.

We always try to blend the two in such a way that economic effectiveness is achieved, which is the essence of today’s need in the competitive market. Our approach to this specialized field is firstly to determine what the requirement is by doing an application Engineering exercise – at the same time understand the total manufacturing – work on this information and come out with an optimum solution to the gauging. We strongly believe that the Customer also plays an important role and contributes a great deal in ultimately coming out with the optimum solution. We, at Baker Gauges are in a unique position to decide which kind of gauging to provide – mechanical, pneumatic, electronic or PC based software solution or to provide a combination of all.

The total process involves conceptualizing, brainstorming, discussions, and discussions with Customer, make draft proposal, finalise the design, model the concept and propose the solution. Again this is discussed with the Customer/actual user to freeze the same. After ordering the progress, right from completing design, manufacture, end trials and acceptance, is monitored and corrections if any are incorporated.
