Our multi-gauging solutions range from a simple multiple diameter checking to – relational parameter like squareness, center distance etc to – Semi-Automatic to completely automatic inline multi-gauging machines. From conceptualizing to final delivery of the solution needs inputs equally from our Customer as we believe he is the expert in manufacturing the part and we are who can provide the gauging – due to this fact lot depends on the collaborative effort from both sides as this has to be one way passage to success

| Shell Bearing Fixture |
|
Purpose: To measure
radial thickness of a
half round
shell bearing used in an internal
combustion engine.
Description of the fixture: In a shell bearing,
there is a flat steel strip on which a sheet made
from bearing material is bonded. The entire assembly
is formed into half round or full round shapes.
The important parameter is the shell thickness which
is controlled by taking a cut on an internal diameter.
The main characteristic of air gauging i.e. contactless
gauging plays a very important part in this application.
Shell is loaded on the fixture and between two jets-
air probe at the top and air plug at the bottom-
measurement is done. Adjustable arms are provided
to support and guide the shell while measuring at
different locations. This fixture can be offered
with air gauge or electronic readout. Ranges: Internal
Diameter 15-36 and 36-150 mm
Note: For full round bearings also gauging can be given |

| Concentricity Checking Gauge |
|
Purpose: to check concentricity
between two internal diameters or between two external
diameters or between one internal and one external
diameter.
Description of the fixture: ID to ID concentricity
checking fixture is shown in the picture. When bores
are adjacent and lack of concentricity is held between
close limits this type of gauge can indicate the
concentricity. The part is fitted over a stepped
air plug gauge and rotated through 360 degrees.
Total Indicated Reading ( TIR ) i.e. max-min is
shown by the electronic readout. Unless face of
a component which rests against the face of APG
is square to bore, this gauge does not indicate
correct reading of concentricity. |
|
|
| Squareness Checking Gauges |
|
Purpose: To check squareness
of a bore with reference to a face.
Description of the gauge: The construction
of this special air plug gauge to measure squareness
is similar to that of concentricity checking gauge.
Mainly used in cylinder block, bearing cup, engine
gears bushing etc. |

|
| Taper Gauges (ISO, MT, HSK
or any other TAPER as per customers' specifications) |
|
Purpose: To check the rate of taper and in particular cases diameter at a gauge plane of male and female tapers like ISO, MT, HSK, BT tapers or as per specific requirement.
Description of the gauge: This type of gauge gives very accurate reading of a rate of taper and eliminates the need of using 'bluing' method for measurement. The diameters are measured at two levels by air jets, which are separated by the known distance. The angle is computed Trigonometrically . Such gauges are equipped with a collar for accurate location of the component while measuring. |

|
| Multijet Air Caliper Gauges |
|
Purpose: To measure
an external diameter of crank pins and journal of
crank shaft
Description of the gauge: A multijet caliper
is a very handy measuring tool used to check outer
diameters of jobs held between the centers on a
machine. By providing more pairs of jets one can
check taper as well as straightness of a diameter.
It can be supplied with electronic readouts or standard
air gauges. |
|
|
| Centre Distance Checking Fixture |
|
Purpose: To check center
distance between two bores or between a bore and
a shaft or between two shafts
Description of the fixture: The picture shown is of a center distance-checking fixture used to measure a distance between a bore and a shaft of 2 wheeler crank . High & Low master is used to set the gauge i nitially and then the operator just has to load the job on the fixture and the center distance is indicated on the electronic readout. The inter connection of jets is done in such a way that variation in either ID or OD does not affect the center distance. |
