Calibration Facility: HIP Division

We have the facility to calibrate thread gauges and external micrometers.

Our Metrology Laboratory is equipped with the latest and highly sophisticated measuring equipment viz.

  • Thread Master Scanner ( IAC-Netherlands)
  • Universal Length Measuring Machine (SIP – Switzerland)
  • KLM Small Internal Diameter Measuring Machine (Steinmeyer–Germany)
  • Floating Carriage outside diameter measuring machine (Matrix – UK)
  • Universal Pitch Measuring Machine (Matrix- UK)
MASTER SCANNER IAC, Netherlands
This machine can measure cylindrical and conical thread ring gauges ranging from diameter 3mm upto 60mm. The threads are scanned in one axial plane and the major dia., pitch dia., minor dia. flank angle & pitch error are measured and displayed for each thread. In addition to above, the rate of taper is also obtained for taper thread gauges. The method of calibration of thread gauge by the Master Scanner is accredited in Europe by Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, U.K.,and by partner organizations of PTB.
SIP 305 M LENGTH MEASURING MACHINE
This Universal Length Measuring machine SIP 305 M has a L.C. of 0.0001mm and a measuring range upto 305mm for outside diameter & pitch diameter. Pitch diameter of thread ring gauges having nominal internal diameters from 3mm upto 125mm can be measured.
UNIVERSAL PITCH MEASURING MACHINE
This Universal Pitch Measuring Machine ( Matrix-U.K. ) is used to measure the pitch error of threads upto 455mm long and having an outside diameter of 200mm and 150mm nominal internal diameter.
FLOATING CARRIAGE DIAMETER MEASURING MACHINE
This floating carriage diameter measuring machine ( Matrix-U.K.) is equipped with Sylvac Inductive Probe and Digital Readout Unit having a L.C. 0.0001mm and can measure the pitch diameter of thread plug gauges upto nominal diameter 100mm.
KLM LENGTH MEASURING MACHINE
This Steinmeyer make length measuring machine with a Digital ( PHOTOGRAPH) Readout, has a L.C. 0.0001mm, is used to measure the pitch diameter of small thread ring gauges, having nominal diameter 3mm upto 30mm.
